My dog keeps ingesting house items....what do i do?

ive already spent money on anti-biotics banfield gave him for the diarea cause he ate my fiances sock. but he hasnt gotten fully better and i dont have the money to take him back cause there too expensive, i just noticed he ate some tape i think??? i dont have gr outback yet so hes trying to settle his tummy. any suggestions????
