Folk music can be described as music for rural peasant characterize by its simple form of communal composition, unsophisticated, and orally transmitted. This particular category is usually performed in natural settings that links to the everyday life activities such as rituals, court, and recreational. There are three components under the folk music: the continuity of musical performance that existed in a very long span of time, variation of melody and lyrics, and the process of selection that implies to the acceptance of the community to the music as part of their culture.
