What makes The god Of The bible Any more real than Thor, Zeus, Odin, or Athena?
"Real" is a tricky term to define in this context. There is no 'proof' of any god, there is only faith in the existence of said god. The idea of "God" is a human construct used to fulfill our need for a sense of purpose. As human beings understand more about nature and science, we find new ways to define our reality. In days of old, we understood very little about nature, i.e. Why is there no rain? It must be because we humans have pissed off the god of rain. Now that we know about natural phenomena, there is less need to define a 'ruler' over each natural occurence so we now revert to a monotheistic view where there is one great ruler pulling all the strings. The ancient gods were very much like normal humans, just more powerful and elevated to a divine state. If the gods we worship are much like us, that leaves room for mutiny when there is discontent. With a single, all-powerful, and non-human like God there is no room for discussion when it comes to a power struggle.
